Zara Ideale 「ザラ・イデアーレ Zara Ideāre」[1] was the father of Zora Ideale and a member of the Clover Kingdom's Purple Orca squad of the Magic Knights. He was the first peasant to become a Magic Knight. Zara was an idealist and held himself to the highest of moral standards in order to exemplify what he thought the ideal Magic Knight should be. In battle, he prioritized the safety of the innocents over his own. Zara was even recognized by Julius Novachrono as being the true embodiment of what a Magic Knight should be. Sadly, Zara was betrayed by his fellow Magic Knight team mates. This fact became known to his son Zora Ideale as he watched two noble Magic Knights discuss the deed while desecrating Zara's grave. This put Zora on a path of revenge against the Magic Knights. Julius Novachrono passed Zora on his way to place flowers upon the gravesite and to pay his respects.
