He was recruited by the Shadow Council to find information in the vibranium mine in Wakanda. Klaw found giant bats, tamed them, and used them to destroy a Wakandan village. Black Panther, aware of the destruction of the village, attacked him and Klaw used a bat to chase him. T'Challa released the bat and it took Klaw away but he was able to free himself. He came across Kllmonger who congratulated him on finding the information.
He joined Killmonger's party to attack the temple of King T'Chanda and was quickly defeated by Captain America.
