Tessen Togeito (棘糸テッセン, Togeito Tessen) is a tokubetsu jōnin of Konohagakure.
Appearance []
Tessen has a short crop of brown hair and dark eyes, under which he sports red triangular markings. He also wears the standard Konohagakure attire complete with flak jacket, forehead protector and bandages around his lower arms and wrists. Additionally, he wields a special shuriken launcher, which is stored in a scroll.
Abilities []
Tessen uses ninja tools as his main fighting style.[1] He makes use of a special shuriken launcher, bombarding the enemy with a volley of shuriken in an instant.
Part II[]
During Pain's assault, he accompanied a small group of shinobi and assisted in Kakashi Hatake's confrontation with the Deva Path of Pain.[2]Upon arrival, he and his comrades launched a simultaneous assault on the opposition from four directions, only to be immediately defeated by the effects of Shinra Tensei.[3]

- "Tessen" (鉄線) is the Japanese name of the "Clematis florida", a plant originating from Japan. When written as 鉄扇, it describes a type of a Japanese war fan. "Togeito" is written with the kanji "棘", which can be read as "thorn", and "糸", which means "string".
