Rasin (レズン Rezun) is one of the two short, plump henchmen who work for Turles in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might.


Rasin is purple skinned, ovular-headed and rather short.



He and Lakasei are revived by Turles from fossils of the long extinct Beenz people by using extract from the Tree of Might. Their species is extremely intelligent, and the two of them built Turles' spaceship and the rest of their ordnance.

The Tree of Might[]

Main article: Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of MightOn Earth, Rasin and Lakasei easily defeat both Chiaotzu and Tien Shinhan, but they are defeated when Goku goes on a rampage against all of Turles Crusher Corps, defeating them at the same time when he uses the Kaio-ken.

Fusion Reborn[]

Main article: Dragon Ball Z: Fusion RebornRasin along with several other antagonists reappear briefly when the dimensions between the living and other world are broken down.



In The Tree of Might, Rasin and Lakasei were able to use their teamwork to overpower and defeat both Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu without effort. Rasin was defeated and killed by a Kaio-Ken empowered Goku.

Techniques and Special Abilities[]

  • Flight – The ability to fly with the use of ki.
  • Continuous Energy Bullet – Used while chasing Chiaotzu. Also used in Dragon Ball Heroes.
  • Gemini Shot – A Full Power Energy Wave technique used against Chiaotzu, and later against Gohan. It is also his special attack in Dragon Ball Heroes.
  • Merge – Rasin can merge with Lakasei into a singular being, as well as split in two, at will. The fusion is identical to both brothers and doesn't seem to gain any significant increase in power.


Rasin and his identical younger twin brother Lakasei can merge into a singular being as well as being able to split in two at will.


  • Scouter - A wearable, all-purpose computer that Frieza's army uses.
  • Turles' spaceship - The spaceship and its ordinance were built by Rasin and Lakasei.

Rasin makes his first appearance in a video game as a playable character in Dragon Ball Heroes.
