Gwen Tennyson is one of the protagonists in the Ben 10 franchise. During early development, she was planned to be a 10-year-old classmate and a friend of Ben Tennyson who accompanied him, along with Max Tennyson.

In the unaired pilot/test footage, it's unclear if this version of her intended to have the same personality traits, eventually wear the Lucky Girl outfit or use Mana spells. Although, it was confirmed that she wasn't genetically related to him and that they happened to be friends.
Appearance[]
Gwen's earlier designs had different shirts, including one that had maroon raglan sleeves and a yellow abdomen with a mushroom in the center, and another shirt with a face of a koala in the center. Her hair was longer, with sideswept bangs and a ponytail, wore dark pink earrings, seemingly wore capri pants (much like her final design), and she may have had a backpack over her shoulder.
Trivia[]
- Cartoon Network was aware of the mushroom graphic on Gwen's shirt and it ended up being nixed, due to drug connotations.
- Since she appears to carry a backpack of her own, it could be suggested that this version of her was Ben's school classmate.
