The Galvan (also known as the Galvin) are an amphibious, insectivorous species from the planet Galvan Prime, until it was destroyed, rebuilt, and renamed Galvan Mark II.
- Small Size
1/3
A Galvan's small size makes them unsuitable for physical battle, so they must outsmart their enemies in a fight. Animals like dogs and cats can be a problem, as they may see a Galvan as a chew toy or food to them.
Despite possessing immense intelligence, the Galvan can still make miscalculations, as Grey Matter's attempt to upgrade the Rust Bucket's air conditioner caused it to overheat instead, incapacitating the vehicle. Galvan intelligence also varies and is not a given for every one, as Blukic and Driba prove time and time again.
The Galvan at a massive disadvantage against the Nemetrix's sample of a Omnivoracious due to their small size.
The Galvan are vulnerable to electricity.

Etymology[]
The name Galvan is a reference to Italian physicist Luigi Galvani, who discovered the electrical impulses of the nervous system by performing experiments on frogs (hence the Galvan's frog-like appearance).
Trivia[]
- The Galvan intellect is apparently highly revered as even the former Highbreed Supreme said that the Galvan were "a slightly more intelligent form of pond scum".
- The Galvan have been involved in Earth's history countless times, including building the Pyramids of Giza, building the Stonehenge as a prank, giving Ascalon to Sir George, causing the Roswell Incident, and protecting Earth from Benevelon's attack before it was incorporated.
- The Galvan are currently the species that have the most named characters in the show, besides humans.
- The Galvan were the first species added to the Omnitrix. However, the DNA sample used for Grey Matter did not come from either Azmuth or Albedo.
- The Techadon Weaponmasters don't accept the fact that the Galvan are smarter than them. So, they try everything to make the Galvan look bad.
- Primitive Galvan worshipped ancient technological gods, whom Azmuth's Biosuit somewhat resembles.
- The Galvan admire the Planchaküles' industriousness and skill, but prefer not to hang out with them too much after work.
- Initially, female Galvans had hair while male Galvans did not. This was partially retconned in the sequels, where female Galvans have tendrils instead.
- Had Omniverse continued past Season 8, a Galvan colored like a poisonous frog would have appeared as a member of the Negative 10, but not as the group's leader.
- The writers' naming convention for Galvan in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien was to use astronomical terms.
- The idea to name multiple Galvans after creators of the series started after T.J. Collins named Blukic and Driba.
- The Galvans' real language is a combination of grunts and grumbles. To facilitate their understanding with other species, they developed a universal translator embedded in their costumes.
