Galet was in attendance at the courtroom trial for the Justice League. Superman tried to convince the court that he and his colleagues were innocent, though Galet found his plea less than believable. Galet then began to go over a long list of damages that the Leaguers caused on Rimbor―both direct and indirect. Superman added to his testimony that they were under control of Vandal Savage when they committed the crimes. Galet questioned him as to why Savage would do such a thing and Superman admitted his uncertainty towards Savage's actions. The trial was brought to a halt by breaking news that the Reach had landed on Earth. In the audience, Mongul arose from his seat and stormed out of the courtroom without saying a word.[1]
