Earth, also known as Terra, is the home planet of Humans and the primary setting of many Ben 10 episodes. The third planet in the Solar System, Earth is also home to alien refugees, human/alien hybrids, and many non-sapient animal life forms.
Landscape[]
A strange and unusual planet, Earth is home to a wide variety of species of "Earthlings", including its dominant species: creatures known as Humans. Often referred to fondly by the locals as "the 3rd rock from the sun", Earth is easily recognizable from space due to being 71% covered by water; with six distinct continental landmasses and polar ice caps at its northernmost and southernmost points. This planet has only one natural satellite, which Humans call "the Moon", as if there is only one moon in the entire cosmos. Contact with the rest of the universe is limited.
Elements[]
Compared to other planets, Earth is unusually rich with iron ore, also known as Bicenthium Alloy to the rest of the galaxy. It is, by mass, the most common element on the planet, and its deposits are so easily found that Humans have fully integrated it as their main industrial building material. While iron is very cheap on Earth, if brought outside, enough of it could make someone rich.
Earth's geosphere also contains other revered minerals, such as Hedorium and Corrodium, though the latter is not naturally occuring.
Culture[]
Earth is not as technologically advanced as most other planets, as it is regarded as a Level 2 planet by the Plumbers.
Because of this, Earth is routinely considered by most of the galaxy to be an inferior world with very primitive inhabitants. It has been called a "miserable planet"; "the cesspool of the galaxy"; and an "insignificant rock". Even a young Azmuth initially regarded it as a "pathetic backwater planet", though he would eventually admit that it had "lovely weather".
Fortunately, certain groups such as the Plumbers have more favorable opinions of Earth. For example, Rook Blonko has referred to Earth as an open system, likely due to the variety of aliens (sapient, non-sapient, and hybrid) that have settled on the planet.
History[]
Prime Timeline[]
When Azmuth first discovered Earth, he called it "Terra". Many other aliens that have set foot on Earth since then, such as Inspector 13, have similarly referred to the planet as "Terra".
Most of Earth's myths and legends come from alien encounters in ancient times. For example, Stonehenge is a Galvan practical joke and the pyramids were built by Tetramands, with the assistance of humans and two Galvan.
After the Incurseans were driven back and Earth was spared from being conquered, aliens began to live on the surface along with humans.
As of the incident with Collectimus, Earth is currently owned by Ben Tennyson.
Paradox's Failure Timeline[]
Professor Paradox showed Ben, Gwen, and Kevin a possible future where Earth became a desert wasteland after the Trans-Dimensional Creature got out of Los Soledad. Fortunately, this future was prevented by Ben.
Generator Rex Universe[]
In this universe, an event called the Nanite Event occurred and caused all living beings on the planet to have nanites in their bodies, some of them became EVOs in the process
Mad Ben's Dimension[]
In this dimension, an apocalypse has happened on Earth, leaving everything desert, leaving everyone on the planet desperate for resources. Ben Tennyson was mentored by Maltruant and Vilgax the Benevolent. Instead of using his Omnitrix to be a hero, Mad Ben established himself as a warlord and the tyrannical master over the remaining people in post-apocalyptic Bellwood, turned to a desert wasteland.
Race Against Time Timeline[]
In this timeline, Eon first appeared on Earth in the early 1800's (Just under 200 years before the events of the movie). The Plumbers had been fighting mostly supernatural threats up until then. He is defeated and put into deep freeze in a facility called 'Kim Labs'.
Video Games[]
Ben 10: Protector of Earth[]
Earth is the main setting, with the Tennysons traveling all over the United States to battle enemies.
Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks[]
Vilgax looked for energy orbs to power his Null Void Projector to send Earth into the Null Void. Ben destroyed all the orbs and sent Vilgax and Psyphon to the Null Void using Alien X. As a reward for his heroic, Azmuth unlocks the Master Control for Ben.
Ben 10: Ultimate Alien Cosmic Destruction[]
Earth is the main setting, being the location where the Potis Altiare was sent by the Galvan when it crashed on Earth many years ago.
Ben 10: Omniverse 2[]
Earth has been invaded by the Incurseans and Way Bads. Ben with Azmuth's help fought the Incursean fleets defeating them and expelling them from Earth.

Trivia[]
- "Htrae", which is Earth spelled backwards, is apparently Earth's secret true name.
- Earth's Solar System is located in a key strategic location for taking over the galaxy.
- Aliens are not allowed to urinate in Earth's bushes as it could lead to an environmental catastrophe.
- Ma Vreedle refers to the Solar System as the "Sol System."
- Earth having dolphins, white lab mice, and humans as sentient life forms is a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams, in which dolphins and white mice are more intelligent than humans.
- Art style-wise, Earth's design in the Original Series looked more or less the same as it does in real life. From Alien Force onwards, there is an unknown landmass pointing west where southeast Asia would be.
- Speaking of which, Earth's design in Alien Force onwards resembles the Blue Marble photograph taken by the crew of Apollo 17 in December 1972.
