Beast was seen as part of Magneto's Mutant Resistance. He would come to aid the resistance when the humans had sent in another wave of robotic Land-Crabs, destroying one of them with the aid of Nightcrawler. Beast would then bring an injured Gambit to safety in one of the resistance's secret hideouts after he was injured by a shot from a tank.
