On Thanksgiving, Batman pursued Mickey Chen for his role in the bombing of Harvey Dent's house. Chen ran into the sewers in an attempt to escape but ran into Grundy, who was infuriated that his privacy had been violated and prepared to kill Chen. Batman calmed Grundy down, promising he would allow to the zombie to have his privacy if he did not hurt Chen. Grundy threw Chen to Batman and slowly walked away.
Batman later brought Grundy a plate of Thanksgiving dinner for capturing Chen, including a leg from the turkey that Alfred Pennyworth had prepared.
