Bau (バウ, Bau) is a member of the Dark Ones.
Appearance[]
Bau has dark-black hair, light pink skin, and a large build. He wears a white kimono undergarment underneath his dark green shihakushō, a light green obi belt sash wrapped around his waist, and dark green armor on his chest that is held by red ropes covering his chest that has bronze outlining curved arrows around and in the center of the armored breastplate itself. He wears a dark green beret cap on the top of his head, with a grey veil that has the red ohmn sign in the center covering his face, white tabi socks, and tan zori shoes. His facial features include no eyebrows, bloodshot eyes, dark-black eye irises, and sharp, jagged teeth.
Plot[]
Along with his team, Bau was sent to capture Senna. After arriving in the Human World, Bau watches as Jai attempts to capture her, only to retreat with the rest of his team when Ichigo Kurosaki interferes.
Following the next day, Bau and his team of five ambush the Gotei 13 when they try to apprehend Senna. Bau fights against Renji Abarai until Ganryū can get to Senna. As they attempt to leave during the chaos, the Dark Ones are confronted by Ichigo, whom Ganryū stabs and leaves for dead. With him wounded and the Gotei 13 distracted, the group leaves for the Valley of Screams.
After they capture Senna, both Bau and Jai try to stop Ichigo from getting to the Shinenju. However, he gets past them with the aid of Renji's Bankai, Hihiō Zabimaru. Bau fights Renji, who stops the latter in his tracks with his Bankai and pushes Bau back against the Valley of Screams' canyons. Counterattacking by hitting Hihio Zabimaru's skeleton with his twin giant club, he destroys its head. When Hihiō Zabimaru reattaches its head, Bau is shocked to see it reform. Renji's Bankai charges at him and eats him alive.
Equipment[]
Clubs: Bau carries two giant dark-black clubs in each hand, that have thick yellow-golden outlines at the top, and two at the bottom of each hilt.
Powers & Abilities[]
Expert Clubs-man: Bau mainly uses his clubs for offensive purposes. Whenever he uses them to hit his opponent, they explode on contact in a medium sized explosion.
