Duelist Kingdom[]
- In episode 3, Joey Wheeler trades for this card on the boat to Duelist Kingdom, contrary to how he obtained it in the manga. Joey later shows Yugi Muto the cards he got from trading with the passengers on the boat and this card is shown among the cards Joey shows.
- In episode 6, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. He summons this card in Attack Position. On the last turn of the Duel, Joey activates the effect of "Time Wizard". Joey succeeds in the effect of "Time Wizard" which Tributes this card to Special Summon "Thousand Dragon".
- This card also appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Yugi giving him "Time Wizard" during the boatride to Duelist Kingdom as well as Yugi saying to him there are some things that you can see that can't actually be seen.
- In episode 11, Joey Wheeler used this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor. He summons this card in Defense Position. "Two-Headed King Rex" then attacks and destroys this card.
- This card also appears in Joey's thoughts when he thinks of the strategy that might help him defeat Rex. This card also appeared in a flashback Joey has when he remembers the combo he used to beat Mai and believes it can probably help him win again.
- In episode 18, this card appears within a series of flashbacks Joey has when he remembers all the times that "Time Wizard" gave him a miraculous win.
- In episode 32, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith. He summons this card in Defense Position. Joey activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds which enables him to Tribute this card to Special Summon "Thousand Dragon".
- In episode 34, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He summons this card in Defense Position. "Dark Magician" then attacks this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to negate the attack of "Dark Magician", equip "Kunai with Chain" onto "Garoozis", and increase the ATK of "Garoozis" and this card by 500. At the End Phase, this card's ATK decreased to the original value. Joey then activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds which Tributes this card to Special Summon "Thousand Dragon" as well as tribute "Dark Magician" to Special Summon "Dark Sage".
Battle City[]
- In episode 59, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his duel against Espa Roba. He summons this card. Joey activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds which Tributes this card to Special Summon "Thousand Dragon".
- In episode 69, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. He summons this card. Joey then activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card and "Alligator's Sword" in order to Fusion Summon "Alligator's Sword Dragon".
Virtual World[]
- In episode 110, this card is one of the five monster cards Joey summoned to keep Gansley, Crump, Johnson, and Leichter busy while he, Serenity Wheeler, Duke Devlin, and Tristan Taylor try to escape. This card is destroyed by Leichter (as "Jinzo").
- In episode 111, this card can be seen when Yami Yugi and Joey Wheeler were building their Decks for their Duel against the Big Five.
Battle City Finals[]
- In episode 125, this card is seen in Joey Wheeler's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. In the next episode, Joey summons this card in Defense Position. After the effect of "Jinzo" activates and destroys all of Marik's Trap Cards, Joey then switches this card and "Panther Warrior" to Attack Position. After "Jinzo" attacks and destroys "Legendary Fiend", Joey uses this card and "Rocket Warrior" to attack Marik directly but Marik activates "Dark Wall of Wind" to reduce the Battle Damage he would take from direct attacks this turn to 0. Later Marik Tributes this card and "Jinzo" in order to Special Summon "Lava Golem" on Joey's side of the field.
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster card that went to Joey's Graveyard for "Question". After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
- In episode 137, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He summons this card in Defense Position. On Joey's next turn, he activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds which Tributes this card to Special Summon "Thousand Dragon".
Waking the Dragons[]
- In episode 161, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks that Joey has when he recalls all of the hardship that he endured in the past and explains to Rex that anybody who loses so many times should keep trying and never give up.
Grand Championship[]
- In episode 185, this card is shown in Rick's Deck when Yugi Muto looks through his Deck.
- In episode 186, Yami Yugi (while using Rick's Deck) uses this card during his Duel against the KC DuelTek 760. He summons this card in Defense Position. "Jinzo" then attacks and destroys this card.

- This card was one of Joey Wheeler's capsule monsters and was the first Capsule Monster Joey obtained.
Manga[]
- In the original manga, this card was a Level 4 monster. The card was originally used by Yugi in his first duel against Pegasus. It was later given to Jonouchi shortly before the Duelist Kingdom Tournament, along with Time Wizard to be used in combination with each other.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[]
- In episode 1, this card is shown being used by an unknown person when people are trying to pass the entrance exams by Dueling examiners.
- This card appears in the GX Japanese closing song Borderline Battle.

- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura, Joey uses this card against Maximillion Pegasus. Joey uses "Polymerization" to use this card as a Fusion Material Monster with "Alligator's Sword" to Fusion Summon "Alligator's Sword Dragon". Later, this card's presence in the Graveyard increases Yugi's "Dark Paladin's" ATK by 500.
- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2012 Special: Joey vs. Kaiba, Joey uses Polymerization to use this card as Fusion Material with "Alligator's Sword" to Fusion Summon "Alligator's Sword Dragon".
- In the non-canon duel YCS Origins 2016 Special: Joey vs. Pegasus, Joey Normal Summons this monster. It is then aged into "Thousand Dragon" by the effect of "Time Wizard".
