Agent E is a friend of Kay who works for "The Agency", a special branch of M.I.B. which operates in Hollywood, helping out the careers of alien actors such as Spacedemon, Predeterminator and Etalffap, all of which get to appear on the big screen in their real extraterrestrial forms while pretending to be disguised. Therefore, she is more of a talent agent than an investigator. She claims that a respectable share of M.I.B.'s money comes from the movies which The Agency helps to produce. As she told Jay: "Etalffap probably paid for your suit".
