Adrian Randolph Crump III, known as Shuzo Otaki in the Japanese version, is a member of The Big Five. He was formerly a KaibaCorp accountant who oversaw the company's finances.
History[]
Crump was an only child, his parents had no time for him since they worked late (in the Japanese version they also used to argue continuously), so he spent most of his time counting things, resulting in his love for numbers. When he found a book about how penguins cared for their young, he became obsessed with penguins. His dream was to build a penguin theme park.
Seto Kaiba, the adoptive son of current KaibaCorp president Gozaburo Kaiba, recruits The Big Five in a plan to take over Gozaburo's company. Once successful, Kaiba hurts Crump in his effort to make his penguin theme park dream reality and The Big Five join Maximillion Pegasus J. Crawford in a plan to have him replace Kaiba as company president. He is defeated by Yami Yugi and the five decide to trap Kaiba in own game in an effort to rule his company. They fail and find Noah, who makes a deal with them. The six villains trapped Yugi Muto, his friends, Mokuba Kaiba and Kaiba in Noah's Virtual World in a plan to escape and hand Noah KaibaCorp. Crump plans to make up for The Big Five's leader, founder and eldest member Gansley's loss to Yugi, though Tea Gardner proved a much stronger opponent than expected. Johnson and Leichter lose to Joey Wheeler and Kaiba alongside proving less significant than Nezbitt, who defeated Tristan Taylor. The 4 defeated men make a failed attempt to cheat their way out of the Virtual World, which Noah foils. Once the big five get defeated once more, Noah, due to the five's failures and rule breaking, imprisoned them in different corners of the Virtual World and they were destroyed when the Virtual World was blown up.
